Sellbot Headquarters

Sellbot Headquarters(SBHQ) were the first Cog HQ introduced to Toontown.

Sellbots roam this HQ, hence the name Sellbots. This HQ is located at the end of Oak Street in Daisy Gardens. It is run by Sellbot’s Vice President(VP)

Inside the HQ, there are a few places: The Courtyard, Factory Entrance, VP Lobby, and VP.

  • The Courtyard is the first area you’ll see when you first enter the HQ.
  • Factory Entrance is located at the East(right) of the Courtyard.
  • Straight ahead is the VP Lobby where Toons who have defeated 10 Factory Runs and earn their Sellbot Suit are able to fight the VP for promotions.
  • Boarding the elevator in the VP Lobby leads you to the VP. This place is where the VP promotes the cog. There, you will be able to fight the VP in 3 rounds.

Factories

Factories are places where they distribute Skelecogs into Cogs to venture and take over Toontown. There, you will be able to run trough the Factory and earn yourself a Sellbot Cog piece. Sellbot Cog Pieces are required to enter the VP’s Lobby and fight the VP. There are a total of 10 pieces. In order to get them, you need to defeat the Factory Foreman and you will earn yourself a Cog Piece.

This is the map inside the Factory. You can either enter the Main Entrance or the Side Entrance.

Main Entrance: No Laff Limit

Side Entrance: 35 Laff Points required.

Toons can either go the “Short” way or the “Long” way. Toons who go the Short way wants to run through the Factory the fastest. Toons who go the Long way wants to earn Sellbot Merits(Cog Suit required). (It is a fact that Factories are the fastest way to earn Merits than Buildings)

The Cog levels range from level 3 to level 9.

The Factory Foreman is the boss of this Factory. They can be Two-Faces, The Minglers, and Mr. Hollywoods. (It may sound weird that a Mr. Hollywood is in the factory), but due to its level,[Hollywoods range from 8-12][Foreman is level 9] Mr. Hollywoods can sometimes appear. It is a skelecog so you can’t tell if it is a Hollwood. If you look at the size of the Skelecog, the largest Skelecogs are the strongest cogs in the Cog Chart.

Short Way: This is the easiest way to earn merits, but you earn lesser merits. It runs through:

[RECOMMENDED PATH]Main Entrance: Lobby, Lobby Hallway[take a right], Gear Room, Warehouse, West and East Silo, and Central Silo.

[OPTIONAL PATH]Side Entrance: Duct Room, Stomper Alley[take a left], Lava Room[and Lava Storage Room; contains 2 Jellybean Barrel, an Ice Cream Cone Barrel, and Squirt and Sound Restocks Barrels], Oil Room, Warehouse, West and East Silo, and Cetral Silo.

Long Way: This is the slowest and hardest way to run through the factory than the short way, but it earns more merits. It basically runs through all rooms with Cogs in it.

Toons recommend that you fight the Cogs in the Gear Room. You’ll regret having to skip that just because you need a few more merits. Gear Room has 2 level 5’s and a level 6. These 3 cogs are still useful.

Merits

Merits are the Sellbot’s way of earning promotions. Here is a chart [from toontown.com] featuring the amount of Merits needed for a promotion:

Here is what you need to earn for Mr. Hollywood Toons:

VP

After earning all 10 Sellbot pieces in the Factory, you are NOT ready to fight the VP. You first need to earn Merits by defeating Sellbots. The fastest way to earn Merits is through Factories. Your first Merits you need to earn is 20. When you enter the VP Lobby, you are one tiny Cold Caller. If your lucky enough to be invited to the Boarding Group(considering the leader, you or other toon has 8 toons to board the elevator), you can board the elevator for 30 seconds or use the instant Go button to the VP[note, only the boarding leader can board the elevator, leave the elevator, and/or use the instant, but you can still invite toons to the boarding group.]

When riding the elevator[hears elevator music da da da… OPEN SESAME!], the VP is currently promoting Cogs. The Cogs then walk to the Take-Off Platform and fly off. You and 3 other toons [while the other 4 go to the other side] start walking to the VP. [VP talks, mustard and relish is yelled out by a toon in the group. the trapped SOS toon reveals the toons identity as a fake cog, VP destroys Toon’s Cog Suit, the battle begins with a Flying Talking Banana Peel(no not really, that was my banana peel I threw away)]

Round 1: Cogs

These are the first batch of Cogs you will be facing. They all range from levels 1 to 12. Usually a Level 12 Hollywood and a Level 1 Cold Caller would come out. In other occasions, 3 level 1 Cold Callers and a level 12 Hollywood. NOTE: ALL GAGS EARN TWICE THE SKILL POINTS. Now all you have to do is fight through these badguys. When the VP sends out only 3, 2, or 1 Cog(s), it usually means that the VP has stopped sending Cogs to battle. End the battle and thus the end of Round 1. [Sometimes more cogs come out, literally not ending the battle yet]

Round 2: Skelecogs

[VP walks up the ramp of the First Group to finish round 1(the VP never goes to the last group that finished last), VP goes under SOS toon, SOS toon starts talking, ROUND 2 BEGINS!] Round 2 consists of level 8-12 skelecogs. This is the last battle round before the VP Pie Throwing Round. NOTE: ALL GAGS EARN TRIPLE SKILL POINTS. Fight through these skelecogs and marks the end of Round 2.

Round 3: VP Pie Throwing

[SOS toon talks, round begins] This round is the hardest round to keep up with. Some toons often die from the VP’s Earthquake (-10 laff points) as it hits all toons. (Note: When a toon disables the VP when the VP jumps, if a toon did not jump, the toon gets hit.) [Toon asks,”What do you do?”. I tell what to do, Cow jumps over the moon…] Jump at the SOS toons cage to get an unlimited supply of Whole Cream Pies[no you cannot keep them]

There are many methods of defeating the VP. First off, you need to stun the VP. [Toon asks,”How do you stun the VP?”. I get dancey, tells toon]

To stun the VP, you must throw a Pie in his undercarriage. His undercarriage is closed, so you must wait for it to open. There are 2 ways of stunning: Long Distance, inaccurate stun and Close-Up stun.

Distance Stun: This is an inaccurate stun, but most toons would want to use this method. You simply walk away from the VP[and still be able to hit the undercarriage] and throw pies when his undercarriage is open. (Note, you may need to throw a pie at him to see if you are targeting the undercarriage] BEWARE OF THE VPs QUAKE MOVE. IT ATTACKS ALL TOONS WHO DON’T JUMP AND THE TOON(S) LOSES -10 LAFF POINTS.

Close-Up Stun: This is the hardest method to master. This method has you walking right at the VP and wait for the undercarriage to open. Prepare your Pie Gauge and when it opens, have your Pie Gauge reach the Far Left and THROW! BE CAREFUL OF THE VPs GEAR ATTACK AND THE[ahem, PWNED] SLAP(When you make contact with VP). You can either go to the back or to the front of the VP.

After stunning the VP’s undercarriage, START THROWING PIES AT HIS CHEST/HEAD. This will cause the VP to move back a bit.

STUN, THROW, BACK AWAY(VP will use Gear Shower and hits toons that are in range of the attack) and REPEAT. It’s like Lather, Rinse, and Repeat, though to a game and you’re not shampooing the computer…

The VP has some attacks in making the toon go sad.

  • VP Contact: -1 laffs
  • The [Pwned] Slap: -5 laffs
  • Gear Shower: -2 laffs
  • Gear Throw: -3 laffs
  • Undercarriage Gear Throw: -2 laffs
  • Quake[loud and deadly; silent if you don’t have sound on]: -10 laffs

[VP falls down Take-Off Platform, Toons dance, SOS toon’s cage lowers to the ground, cage opens, SOS toons promotes you and gives you SOS card to call upon thy rescued toon] CONGRATULATIONS! YOU JUST WON THE TERRIFYING, YET EASY-TARGET VP! FOR YOUR EFFORTS, YOU WIN: AN SOS TOON AND A BUCKET OF MUSTARD! MMM.. YUM!

SOS Toons

Note: Rarity doesn’t mean how much the Toon commonly shows. It’s a way to show how strong the Card is.

ie: Barbara Seville, Sound-3 star and does 40 damage compared to Sid Sonata, Sound-4 star and does 50 damage(same as maxxed Fog Horn)
